Work-based learning

Work-based practice placements are an essential part of all undergraduate programmes delivered within the faculty.  We utilise our links with local, national and international employers and partners to ensure that every student has quality assured placements that provide the relevant learning opportunities to put into practice knowledge and skills gained during the academic programme.  There is a dedicated team of administrators and academics who prepare, support and guide students through the placement process in all subject areas.

There are opportunities for students to go on established international placements. The placements include Botswana, Uganda, Swaziland, Tanzania, South Africa, Bangladesh, India, Seychelles, Sweden, Norway and Bulgaria. International placements outside of Europe are self-funded but there is support and advice on fund raising available.
